Injuries

Jeremie Frimpong

Frimpong was forced off during the early stages of the Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt in October and remains sidelined.

Slot reported on December 2 that he expects Frimpong to return to training 'next week'.

Giovanni Leoni

The defender is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury at the end of his debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup.

Slot on September 26: "He is not in a good place, of course, because he tore his ACL and it means he will be out for a year. Being so young and coming to a new country and playing so well in your first game... it's very hard to take the positive side.

"There's never a positive side – but you always try to look at a positive side and that is that he is still so young, so he has so many years still to go after he recovers from a terrible injury like that."

Suspensions

Conor Bradley is suspended for the game against Brighton & Hove Albion on December 13 after picking up his fifth caution of the Premier League season in the draw at Leeds United.

Bradley is also one yellow card away from incurring a one-match suspension in the Champions League.

Dominik Szoboszlai is one caution away from serving a one-match suspension in the Premier League.
