Read the latest information on injuries, suspensions and availability in the Liverpool men's squad.

Injuries

Conor Bradley

Bradley underwent surgery on a significant knee injury he suffered away at Arsenal in January.

Andoni Iraola on September 14: "I think he is not close to training with the team. He's training alone but he has started touching the ball. Definitely I want him as quick as possible ready but it's a long-term injury."

Federico Chiesa

The Italian is back in training after an injury sustained in pre-season.

Iraola on October 9: "We will maybe recover Fede Chiesa but he hasn't played any minutes. He's recovering from an injury but he has been doing a good job in the international break and has been training with the small group we had."

Hugo Ekitike

The French forward, who ruptured his Achilles tendon back in April, has been included in Liverpool's squad for the Champions League league phase.

Iraola on September 11: "I think it's difficult with these long-term injuries, I think he's still far [away]. But we had a meeting with the medical department to analyse when we completed the [squad] list for the European games. There is a reasonable chance that he could help us in the last two games of the group stages.

"But it's still very early to say. It's very early because it's a long-term injury [and] a big part of the rehab [he] is still to meet. But if we decide to put him there, it is because there is a hope and there is a realistic chance that he could help us in January."

Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak

The attackers suffered injuries during the recent round of international fixtures and will miss Sunday's Premier League game with Manchester City.

Iraola on October 9: "Cody has an ankle injury. He has had some before in his career and it's a matter of him dealing with the pain because when you twist your ankle... it was a really bad tackle, I think. He is doing things individually but [he is] not ready for Sunday.

"And Alex has a thigh injury. It's a small injury but it's a muscle injury. The same [as Gakpo], whenever he feels ready.

"They both don't look like long-term – we will be analysing day to day. But they are not going to arrive on Sunday."

Giovanni Leoni

Leoni has not played since September 2025 due to an ACL injury.

Iraola on September 3: "I think the plan is also to start training during the break, with the group."
