Virgil van Dijk voted into EA SPORTS FC Team of the Year for seventh time

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has been included in the EA SPORTS FC™ Team of the Year for the seventh time.
After a memorable 2025 during which the centre-back lifted his second Premier League trophy with the Reds, Van Dijk was voted by millions of fans as one of the best players in The World's Game.
"I'm extremely proud to be named in the EA SPORTS FC Team of the Year for the seventh time," said the Dutchman.
"Being voted for by the fans always means a lot and I'd like to thank them for their support."
Van Dijk's upgraded item will be live in-game from Tuesday January 20.
