Virgil van Dijk is now the holder of a Premier League goal record for Liverpool.
The captain scored for the 23rd time in the top flight for the Reds by heading home a second-half winner that earned a 1-0 victory at Sunderland on Wednesday night.
And that means Van Dijk is now the defender with the most goals in the Premier League for Liverpool, surpassing Sami Hyypia's total of 22.
