Injuries

Stefan Bajcetic

Bajcetic is yet to play in the 2025-26 season due to injury.

Arne Slot on January 30: "He's not training yet. So, he constantly gets close to the team and then he has a little setback and then comes close and has a little setback, so we're hoping and expecting to have him very soon, again.

"But at that moment of time he trains with us again, then he's been out for six, seven, eight months [with] no first-team training. So, as much as I'd like to have him back, we have to manage the expectations with him as well."

Conor Bradley

The Northern Irishman is set to be out for the rest of the season after sustaining a significant knee injury against Arsenal on January 8.

He underwent surgery for the issue in the days after and then began a spell of rehabilitation.

Bradley on January 14: "A big blow but surgery is done so the comeback starts now. It won't be for a little while but I already can't wait to get back playing for Liverpool FC and Northern Ireland."

Wataru Endo

Endo was stretchered off in the second half of the win at Sunderland on February 11 with a foot injury.

Slot on February 19: "Wata will be out for a long time. We don't know exactly how long - but long."

Joe Gomez

Gomez is a doubt for the game against Galatasaray at Anfield on March 18.

Slot on March 17: "Joe, we will decide that tomorrow. He wasn’t ready to train today, he had too much issues after our last game, although he had these issues already after the Galatasaray game [and] wasn’t planned to play against Tottenham but unfortunately Ibou [Konate] got discomfort in his hamstring so we couldn’t take the risk of playing him.

"That’s why Joe had to play and that has built up so much that now he’s a bit of a doubt for tomorrow. But he’s going to try tomorrow, to see if he is available."

Alexander Isak

Isak is currently on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury that included a fibula fracture on December 22.

He sustained the issue while scoring against Tottenham two days prior.

Slot on March 17: "Alex is, like I said, not available for tomorrow but the fact that you see him on the pitch tells you that he gets closer and closer to joining us again."

When asked if he now has a more definitive timescale in mind for Isak’s return, Slot replied: "No, not really, but he will not be available for Saturday as well. As long as you don’t train with the team yet, you are not ready to play."

Giovanni Leoni

The defender is recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament tear suffered at the end of his debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup in September 2025.

He is not expected to play again in 2025-26.

Slot on September 26: "He is not in a good place, of course, because he tore his ACL and it means he will be out for a year. Being so young and coming to a new country and playing so well in your first game... it's very hard to take the positive side.

"There's never a positive side - but you always try to look at a positive side and that is that he is still so young, so he has so many years still to go after he recovers from a terrible injury like that."
