Liverpool's injury list, suspensions and availability

ree

Injuries

Alisson Becker

The goalkeeper suffered an injury in the second half of Liverpool's Champions League game at Galatasaray.

Arne Slot on October 24: "Alisson is not in the squad [for the match at Brentford] tomorrow. That's also going to take a little bit longer."

Jeremie Frimpong

Frimpong was forced off during the early stages of the 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.

Slot on October 24: "Jeremie is not in a good place. What I mean with that is he is definitely not going to play tomorrow or next week. [A] hamstring injury so that's going to take a while."

Ryan Gravenberch

The Dutchman missed the fixtures with Eintracht, Brentford and Crystal Palace due to an ankle injury suffered against Manchester United, but may return against Aston Villa on November 1.

Slot on October 29: "I think Ryan has a good chance [to be fit for Villa]."

Alexander Isak

Isak felt a groin injury during the victory over Eintracht and was withdrawn at half-time. The striker was then not involved against Brentford or Palace and Slot is unsure if he will be ready to face Villa.

Slot on October 29: "Let's wait and see tomorrow and Friday."

Curtis Jones

The midfielder came off in the 70th minute of the defeat at Brentford and did not play against Palace. Slot is unsure if he will be ready to face Villa.

Slot on October 29: "Let's wait and see tomorrow and Friday."

Giovanni Leoni

The defender is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury at the end of his debut against Southampton in the Carabao Cup.

Slot on September 26: "He is not in a good place, of course, because he tore his ACL and it means he will be out for a year. Being so young and coming to a new country and playing so well in your first game... it's very hard to take the positive side.

"There's never a positive side – but you always try to look at a positive side and that is that he is still so young, so he has so many years still to go after he recovers from a terrible injury like that."

Suspensions

Amara Nallo

Nallo was sent off in the Palace game on October 29 and will therefore serve a one-match suspension when Liverpool host Villa on November 1.
