Liverpool name initial 31-player squad for USA pre-season tour
Liverpool have named an initial 31-player squad for their tour of the USA.
The Reds departed for their training base in Chicago from John Lennon Airport on Monday afternoon.
Andoni Iraola's side will face Sunderland, Wrexham and Leeds United in North America across three states during the next fortnight, before returning to Merseyside at the start of August.
Among the travelling party are a handful of players who will continue their injury rehabilitation programmes with the club's medical team.
Further senior players will join the group later in the tour after their World Cup commitments.
