Liverpool FC legends past and present have come together to unveil the Reds’ highly anticipated 2025–26 home and away kits, following the club’s historic reunion with adidas. The partnership, announced in March, rekindles a celebrated relationship that fans have long associated with iconic football moments and classic kit designs.

The reveal showcases current stars like Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Curtis Jones and Ceri Holland in a whimsical, Alice in Wonderland-inspired launch video. They’re joined by revered club legends including Sir Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, John Barnes, Robbie Fowler and Jamie Carragher, blending generations in a surreal journey that reimagines what it means to wear the Liver bird.
The new kits mark the beginning of a 10-year deal between Liverpool FC and adidas. This is the third chapter of their collaboration, with previous eras spanning 1985–1996 and 2006–2012. During those periods, the club claimed major honors including three top-flight titles and three FA Cup wins, all while wearing the iconic three stripes. The latest designs aim to channel that proud legacy while showcasing adidas’ cutting-edge performance technology.
The home shirt stays true to tradition with a clean, all-red colourway enhanced by crisp white adidas stripes running down the sleeves and a sleek crew neck collar. The away kit pays homage to classic LFC strips with an off-white base, bold black and red detailing, and a Liver bird framed within a shield — a visual reference to Anfield’s Main Stand façade from 1906. On the back of each jersey, the 97 emblem encased by eternal flames sits proudly at the nape, commemorating the lives lost at Hillsborough.

Supporters can purchase both home and away kits starting today via the club’s official online store, the LFC Store app, and in LFC retail locations across the UK and globally. For the first week of release, fans who buy both shirts through official LFC channels will receive a 10% discount. In addition, All Red Members and season ticket holders are entitled to a further 10% off, continuing the club’s commitment to rewarding its loyal fanbase.
Both kits will be available in short-sleeve and long-sleeve versions, providing more choice for supporters than ever before. The versatile options are designed with performance and comfort in mind, allowing fans to wear their pride whether in the stands, at home or out and about.
To honour forward Diogo Jota, fans can opt to have "Diogo J. 20" printed on the back of their shirts. All profits from sales of this customization will go to the LFC Foundation, the club’s official charity. The Foundation has pledged to create a grassroots football programme in Jota’s name, building on his impact at Liverpool and contributing to future generations of local talent.

Ben Latty, Liverpool FC’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “This is more than just the launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a decade-long relationship between LFC and adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, the energy and anticipation among supporters has been phenomenal. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come and we're thrilled to see such a positive response.”
Sam Handy, GM at adidas Football, added: “Bringing the three stripes back to Anfield is a momentous occasion for adidas. The home jersey reflects the core identity of Liverpool – understated, elegant, and timeless – while the away shirt celebrates the club’s rich history in a bold new way. We’re excited to kick off this journey and proud to see adidas once again play a part in Liverpool’s story.”
The men's first team will debut the new home kit in a pre-season double-header at Anfield against Athletic Club, followed by the away kit’s first outing in the FA Community Shield clash with Crystal Palace on August 10. Liverpool FC Women will also showcase the new designs, wearing the away kit during their pre-season fixture against Aston Villa on August 9, and the home kit the following weekend when Durham visits the AXA Melwood Training Centre.
As supporters line up to get their hands on the latest jerseys, the buzz around the return of adidas to Liverpool FC is electric. With innovation, history, and style coming together in this launch, the kits represent not just fresh threads — but a revival of legacy, pride, and unity among the Liverpool faithful.
