Giorgi Mamardashvili up for Premier League Save of the Month award

Giorgi Mamardashvili has received a nomination for Premier League Save of the Month in November.

The Georgian goalkeeper is in contention for the prize for his 19th-minute intervention in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Aston Villa at Anfield.

Mamardashvili leapt to push a deflected Matty Cash strike onto the woodwork and behind for a corner, with the scoreline goalless at that stage.
