Internationals: Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike in action on Monday

Liverpool trio Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike played in Monday’s World Cup qualifiers.

Reds No.7 Wirtz was substituted in stoppage time of Germany’s 1-0 away win over Northern Ireland, who were without the suspended Conor Bradley.

Isak, meanwhile, started and finished Sweden’s 1-0 defeat at home to Kosovo, and Ekitike was brought off the bench in the closing stages of France’s 2-2 draw with Iceland.

Ibrahima Konate missed the match in Reykjavik after withdrawing from Les Bleus' squad over the weekend.
