Hugo Ekitike and Dominik Szoboszlai up for Premier League Player of the Month award

Hugo Ekitike and Dominik Szoboszlai have been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for August.
The Liverpool duo were today included on the eight-man shortlist for the prize, alongside Riccardo Calafiori, Jack Grealish, Marc Guehi, Erling Haaland, Joao Pedro and Antoine Semenyo.
The champions won all three of their top-flight matches last month, with Ekitike and Szoboszlai starting each victory.
Summer signing Ekitike scored two goals and provided an assist during August, while Szoboszlai excelled at right-back in the wins over Newcastle United and Arsenal. Indeed, the No.8’s stunning free-kick settled the Anfield clash with the Gunners.
