Alexander Isak’s Sweden were eliminated from the World Cup after a 3-0 defeat against France.
The Liverpool striker started and played 89 minutes of the Round of 32 clash in New Jersey on Tuesday.
Kylian Mbappe’s clinical finish on the stroke of half-time put France in front and they doubled their lead eight minutes into the second period through Bradley Barcola.
Mbappe then scored again to confirm the end of Sweden’s involvement in the tournament, with France progressing to meet Paraguay in the last 16.
