Salah's Egypt set sights on AFCON knockout phase after Angola draw

Mohamed Salah's Egypt wrapped up the group stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with a 0-0 draw against Angola.

With his country already assured a place in the last 16, the Liverpool forward was an unused substitute during Monday's match in Agadir.

The point consolidated top spot in Group B for the Pharaohs ahead of South Africa in second.

They will therefore face a third-placed finisher in the opening round of the knockout phase, still to be confirmed, on Monday January 5.
