Salah beats Suarez to set new Liverpool record in Premier League

Mohamed Salah set a new Liverpool record in the Premier League with his goal at Aston Villa on Wednesday night.

The No.11 opened the scoring in the 2-2 draw at Villa Park, firing into the roof of the net from Diogo Jota’s assist across the penalty area on 29 minutes.

That effort was Salah’s 15th away goal in the top flight so far this term, which is the most any player has tallied for the club in a single Premier League season.

Salah has moved clear of the previous best figure of 14 set by Luis Suarez during the 2013-14 campaign.
