A new record attendance for European competition was set at Anfield on Tuesday night.
There were 59,916 present to watch Liverpool's Champions League meeting with Real Madrid.

That was an increased high figure for the Reds' stadium in Europe, surpassing the total of 59,816 at last season's win over Bologna.
Liverpool's all-time record crowd at Anfield remains the 61,905 who attended an FA Cup clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers in February 1952.
