Mohamed Salah earns second Premier League Playmaker prize

Mohamed Salah has claimed a second Premier League Playmaker prize for the most assists in a single season.

Liverpool's No.11 set up a career-best 18 goals from his 38 appearances this term while helping clinch the club's 20th top-flight championship.

Salah was handed both the Playmaker and Golden Boot trophies during a presentation at Anfield on Sunday following the Reds' season finale against Crystal Palace.

The Egyptian first earned the Playmaker award in 2021-22 with 13 assists, when he was also the division's top scorer.

He is only the second player in the history of the accolade to be awarded it on multiple occasions, alongside Kevin De Bruyne (2017-18, 2019-20 and 2022-23).
