Milos Kerkez scored his first international goal to earn Hungary a 1-0 victory over Georgia.

The left-back headed what would prove to be the winner past Liverpool teammate and Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili 10 minutes before half-time of Friday’s UEFA Nations League tie in Budapest.

Dominik Szoboszlai captained Hungary while Kerkez received his second yellow card of the competition, meaning he is suspended for his country’s game against Ukraine on Monday.

Three other Liverpool players also saw Nations League action this evening.

Kieran Morrison provided an assist with an excellent cross as Northern Ireland beat Ukraine 3-0, while Bradley Barcola and Jeremy Jacquet featured in France’s 1-1 draw with Italy.

Jacquet started and finished the tie in Paris, where Barcola was introduced as a substitute for the final quarter of an hour.

Finally, Academy defender Prince Cisse came off the bench as Wales U19s lost 2-0 to Norway in a friendly.
