'Massive thank you' - James Milner sends message to Liverpool fans

James Milner shared a message of appreciation to Liverpool supporters after returning to Anfield on Saturday.
The Englishman featured against the Reds for Brighton & Hove Albion as a second-half substitute in the Premier League meeting, which the hosts won 2-0.
It was the first time Milner has faced the club as an opponent since his trophy-laden eight-year spell at LFC concluded in the summer of 2023, and his name was sung by the home fans upon his introduction.
Milner is wearing the No.20 jersey for the Seagulls this season in honour of his former Liverpool teammate Diogo Jota.
"Disappointing result but happy to be back out on the pitch and a special moment to play at Anfield wearing the No.20," Milner said as part of a post-match social media post.
"A massive thank you for the incredible welcome from the Anfield crowd. YNWA."
