Luis Diaz scores in Colombia win overnight

Luis Diaz was on target for Colombia overnight in the latest round of World Cup qualifying action in South America.

The Liverpool forward started the contest and completed 76 minutes in his nation’s 4-0 victory over Chile in Barranquilla.

Diaz scored his team’s second goal of the night with a low finish from inside the box following a James Rodriguez pass, with Colombia having won the ball back in the final third of the pitch

Elsewhere in the CONMEBOL qualifiers, Alexis Mac Allister featured for over an hour of Argentina’s 6-0 win against Bolivia, while Darwin Nunez led the line for Uruguay during a 0-0 draw with Ecuador.
