Read the latest information on injuries, suspensions and availability in the Liverpool men's squad.

Injuries

Conor Bradley

Bradley underwent surgery on a significant knee injury he suffered away at Arsenal in January.

Andoni Iraola on September 14: "I think he is not close to training with the team. He's training alone but he has started touching the ball. Definitely I want him as quick as possible ready but it's a long-term injury."

Hugo Ekitike

The French forward, who ruptured his Achilles tendon back in April, has been included in Liverpool's squad for the Champions League league phase.

Iraola on September 11: "I think it's difficult with these long-term injuries, I think he's still far [away]. But we had a meeting with the medical department to analyse when we completed the [squad] list for the European games. There is a reasonable chance that he could help us in the last two games of the group stages.

"But it's still very early to say. It's very early because it's a long-term injury [and] a big part of the rehab [he] is still to meet. But if we decide to put him there, it is because there is a hope and there is a realistic chance that he could help us in January."

Jeremie Frimpong

Frimpong sustained a muscle injury soon after coming on as a half-time substitute during Liverpool's Premier League win at Brentford.

Iraola on October 19: "[It] is obviously a new muscle injury and it happened, I think, in the second or third minute he was playing, difficult to predict and we will have to wait until he recovers. But it’s going to be difficult, I think, before the [November international] break. We will try but it's going to be difficult to have him."

Giovanni Leoni

Leoni has not played since September 2025 due to an ACL injury.

Iraola on October 15: "It's taking more time than we wanted. The planning was to train with the team in this past international break [but] probably it's going to be in the next international break, so we've lost one month in the process.

"Giovanni's injury, I wasn't here but talking to the medical department, it was not just an ACL – it was a bad injury, a lot of things around the knee were involved apart from the ACL.

"He has to be very confident, the rehab process has to be very careful with him and we want to make sure once he comes to the team, he stays there in a good place.

"It's true that we've had, not a setback, but a little bit of a delay, if you want. The plan now is he starts in the next break. It's not that far but it's a little bit later than we expected, yes."

Dominik Szoboszlai

Szoboszlai was forced off in the first half of the win at Brentford. He had previously missed the matches with Manchester City and LASK due to an injury picked up while on international duty.

Iraola on October 19: "It’s not a new injury, I think it’s in the same place it was probably last week. He hasn’t worsened the injury but probably we have to be a little bit more patient until he recovers fully.

"But it’s not like something now where he has to wait a lot of time to come back, he is more or less in the same situation he was last week.

"But we need more patience with him, but I appreciate the effort he did the other day, to be available, to want to contribute in a very difficult game that you know is going to be very physical – [against] one of the most physical teams, Brentford.

"And to put himself in front and to want to play speaks very well about him, yes."

Suspensions

Ryan Gravenberch has served his one-match ban in the Premier League and can return for the clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on October 25.
