Kostas Tsimikas made a memory he will treasure for the rest of his life during Liverpool's pre-season win over Sunderland in Nashville.
The left-back wore the captain's armband for the first time in his Reds career, inheriting it when Joe Gomez was forced off with a knock early on at GEODIS Park.
Tsimikas, who joined the club from Olympiacos in 2020, took to social media after the game to share his pride.
He posted on Instagram: "Some moments become memories forever. First time as captain. An honor beyond words."
