Ibrahima Konate to join Real Madrid

Ibrahima Konate will join Real Madrid following the expiry of his contract with Liverpool FC.
It was announced last month that Konate was to leave Anfield at the end of June after a five-year stay with the Reds.
The France international centre-back made 183 appearances for Liverpool following a transfer from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021.
He won the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup (twice) and FA Community Shield during his spell on Merseyside.
A statement released by Real Madrid today read: "Real Madrid CF and Ibrahima Konate have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next four seasons, until June 30, 2030."
