Hugo Ekitike shared his thoughts after scoring the match-winning goal and receiving a red card against Southampton on Tuesday night.

Introduced at half-time for Liverpool in the Carabao Cup third-round tie at Anfield, Ekitike scored the winner from Federico Chiesa’s cross.
Alexander Isak had earlier put the Reds ahead, but Shea Charles equalised for the Championship visitors 15 minutes from time.
Ekitike’s Kop-end finish marked his fifth goal since joining the club this summer. However, his celebration, which involved removing his shirt, earned him a second yellow card, meaning he’ll miss Saturday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
“I was so excited tonight to help the team achieve another victory here in our home for my first Carabao Cup match,” he wrote on social media. “The emotion got the better of me tonight. My apologies to all the Red family. Thanks to the fans who always support us and to my teammates for securing this victory.”
