Carabao Cup third-round draw details

The draw for the third round of the 2026-27 Carabao Cup will be held on Wednesday night (August 26).
Liverpool are set to enter the competition at its next stage, with their tie to be played in the week commencing September 14.
The Reds will discover their opponents when the third-round draw takes place after the meeting between Preston North End and Everton, live on Sky Sports.
It is scheduled to begin at approximately 10.15pm BST.
Liverpool will be ball No.7.
A pre-draw will also be held, live on Sky Sports, at around 7.20pm BST. This will determine whether the eight clubs participating in European competition will play their third-round tie at home or away.
