The 18-year-old has moved to the Championship club for the rest of the season after the Reds sanctioned a loan on transfer deadline day.
Scotland U21 international Doak transferred to Anfield from Celtic in the summer of 2022 and has since made 10 senior appearances for Liverpool, including his debut at 16 against Derby County in November 2022.
He committed to a new long-term contract in September of the following year, but a knee injury just before Christmas halted his progress, sidelining him for the rest of the 2023-24 season.
Initially named in the provisional Scotland squad for Euro 2024, Doak had to withdraw due to the injury.
Following five pre-season friendlies with the Reds, Doak is now aiming to acquire more senior-level experience at Boro, under the guidance of head coach Michael Carrick.
